Looking out at the lake, Hermione had screams & streams of thoughts in her mind, blocking out every single war plan imaginable.
Her bouffy brown hair swayed in the breeze, but her herself wasnt moving. She stared point black out at the lake, still not clear of what could happen.
A tear rolled down her eye, she was just too confused, she left Harry at the Gryffindor Common Room by himself, she didnt want him to see her nerves

Ron had seen Hermione wander down to the lake and had followed. He didn't sit with her at first, just watched from maybe 100 metres away. He could just see the tear on her face and knew he should go to her.
As he walked, he smiled. That's what happened whenever he saw Hermione these days. Ron would either smile, or be faced with aggresive stomach butterflies, although he hadn't determined why.
"You okay?" He asked Hermione as he sat down. "You don't look okay..." Looking at her, Ron smiled.

Hermione quickly brushed the tear that was tumbling down her face away. She didnt want them to worry. Not turning around, she finally spoke after a few akward moments.
"Yeah, Im fine" she lied, in a shaky voice, but quickly cleared her voice, passing it as a sore throught moment. "Why wouldnt I be?' she questioned, still facing the lake, not daring to turn around
All those thoughts started to fade, but still drowned out most sounds of nature

Ron shrugged. "I don't know Hermione." Looking at her his smile faded. "I worry about you alot lately..." He then looked away, feeling the awkwardness between the two.

Hermione finally turned around to face Ron, "You dont need to, I can take care of myself, Im fine" she replied. She could hardly look at him, she couldnt stand lieing to him, even more than usual

Shaking his head Ronald looked back at Hermione. "So what are you doing down here?" He'd expect Hermione to be in the library or the common room. She wasn't herself lately though, Ron didn't know why. "It's cold..." Ron muttered this. He secretly wanted to put his arm around his friend and tell her everything would be fine... He wished he could beleive that...

"Thinking about what?" Ron curiously asked his friend. Everyone had been doing alot of thinking lately. It was as if the world was coming to an end and no one knew what to think or do. The world was not indeed ending, but Ron knew they had quite a fight ahead of themselves.
Looking at Hermione, Ron studied all her features, right down to the few freckles she posessed. He wanted nothing more then things to work out well and all this crap to be over. It was too much for a bunch of teenagers to handle.

Hermione didnt really want to admit how worried she was to anyone, let alone someone that thought she could hold it together, but she knew that he was supicous, why else would he ask, either that or he knew her much too well. "I...I...I just was thinking about" she paused right there after stuttering uncontrolbly, she couldnt think of anything to help her get passed this. She decided to come clean.
"Im thinking about the fight, I just dont know whats going to happen...Im not scared or anything, Im just, you know, trying to think of different stratergies" she lied, looking away from his Ron immediantly, knowing she would crack if she looked even at his forehead.

"Come 'ere." Ron said, pulling Hermione into a big, awkward, side hug. "Don't stress too much." He told her, resting his head on hers. "We shouldn't be worrying. For now we're at school, we need some rest and relaxation before we have to try anything again."

((Its fine, Its good))
Hermione couldnt help but smile, Ron always had a way of making her do that, even at the wrong times, but normally she would hide it, she let go of him. "I know, its just, you know me. I worry a bit too much" she replied, looking up at the red-headed friend of hers. She couldnt drag her eyes away from him, lucky she wasnt looking directly in his eyes, she would of blurted everything out, her worries, her dreams, how she couldnt get any sleep.
Hermione felt warmness when he held her, safeness, reassureness, all in his arms. But when she pulled away, all the worries came back to her, but she hid it, she had becoming better at that lately, & was glad that she had developed that skill too

Ron nodded, he could tell something was wrong. They had been friends for a long time now, just like he could with Harry, he could sense when something was really bothering Hermione. What could he do though? She obviously was not going to tell him.
Looking at his friend, his smile couldn't help but fade. No one could be sure of what was going to happen next. Ron looked out towards the lake. The lake was almost soothing, taking away his worries.
"So what are we going to do next then?" Ron calmly asked Hermione, keeping his eyes focused on the lake.

"I dont know" Hermione said truthfully, facing Ron, who was looking straight out at the lake. She didnt feel like letting go of her responsibilities for even a few minutes, & thats what would happen if she looked out at the lake.
As Hermione saw Ron's smile fade, she couldnt help but feel guilty, it was all her fault that he was upset, he had a smile as he came, something she had always seen on his face, even at this type of time.
Hermione had her focus on Ront he whoile time, & couldnt help but feel butterflies fly around furiously in her stoumach

Of course Hermione didn't know. No one knew what to do anymore. It was driving him mad on the inside. He didn't want everything to just suddenly happen. How were teenagers meant to deal with waking up every morning wondering which family member had been killed? They couldn't. Ron knew it was too much for anyone to deal with..
"It'll be okay." Ron said as he turned to Hermione. "Everything will work out for the best. I promise." Forcing a smile, he looked back out onto the lake. He knew he couldn't say that for sure, but he wanted it to be true so badly.

Hermione could see past Ron's wishes, "We both know no-one can promise that!" Hermione replied, calmly, but as though she was giving someone a correction with homework. She looked at Ron, not knowing what else he was thinking, hell, she didnt know what she was thinking herself.
Hermione couldnt help but think negative. She suddenly remembered Harry, "You wont tell him would you?...I mean, about this talk?" she asked, as curiuosly & scared as she was even before, wonder scketched all over her face.
