There she was, in the library, all alone, no-one on the same room with her. She had left Harry and Ron in the common Room, not able to stay there, with all of the negative energy flying around.
Many things were running threw her mind, too many thoughts. It was enough to drive her insane. But she kept her head, and nowm she has learnt how to hide her emotions, which she has needed to do if she wanted to convince Harry to allow her to come along with him and fight.
The war plan was in front of her, so was plain partchment, which she was going to use to send an owl to her family, explaning where she was going, and finally how much trouble they were in.
The envelope would have a memory charm in it, to spread around the whole household they were in, so they would forget about her. She was crying out on the indise, she didnt know when she would be able to see her family, or even if she would be able to see them ever again.
She dipped her quill into the ink, then on the huge peice of partchment, which already had traces of ink on it, her writing was taken care of. "I really need a quick-quotes quill" Hermione mumbled to herself, as her hand began to ache. But she ignored it, as she knew her hand would alot more after, if she was planning to help the Wizardring world.
She continued to read through the History Books, hoping to find something to help her..them.....the whole world, maybe even the universe.
This wasnt fair, they were only teenagers, and already, everything was on their shoulders
((I hope its not too long))

{Don't worry about it, it's fine.}
Kiera walked slowly into the library, half asleep really. She barely had her eyes open but, here she was, strolling around the castle to her sanctuary in the middle of the night. She too was on the verge of sending a letter, and she would've done it with no distractions, cause God knew she didn't need any more of those, when she heard the scratching of a quill. Her eyes snapping open quickly at the sound, giving Kiera full awareness of her surroundings now, her curious gaze settled into one of pleasantness as she saw who was probably her best friend in the school.
"Hermione!" Kiera squealed, a little louder than she should've, given the place and time. "Girl, I haven't seen you in ages!" she proclamined, though it had really only been a matter of the difference between curfew and now but...same thing, really.
"What's my favorite Gryffindor doing out of bed, scribbling away like a madman?" Kiera teased. It was all fun and games for her, now that Hermione was out and about as well, but it vanished as quickly as it had come, as her friend's concentrated look and unperceptive face connected with her brain. "Hey...are you okay?" Kiera asked quietly, as she took the seat beside Hermione.

((thanks))
Hermione didnt know what to say to Kiera. "I dont think anyone is anymore to tell you the truth" she answered, as calmly as she could. Everything was just so unfair, it just was. Here she was, a war plan infront of her, what seemed the almost 5 shelves of books infront of her, full of plans, and history of wars.
Hermione finally looked up to see her childhood friend. Life was a whole lot more harder for them than ever, Hermione, personally, didnt thin Kiera relised that her parents were alos in trouble, and not just her.
Hermione knew, hers and Ron's parents and family were in more trouble than ever, Ron's were traiters to the Dark side, and Hermione's parents were muggles, meaning that they couldnt protect themselves

Kiera sighed, knowing that there was one of a few things that could be bothering her friend these days. "Let me take a wild guess....Judging by the length of parchment spread out in front of you, the title's of these books stacked on this table, and that look on your face....You're thinking about that war again, aren't you?" Kiera's voice was quiet and gentle as she finished talking, as the subject seemed to make her feel so...weak and powerless lately. She closed her eyes for a brief moment and looked down at her hands, folded in her lap now.
"I know you're worried and you're scared...but you can still talk to me. You know that, right?" Kiera looked at her friend now, her eyes wide and fearful for just a quick moment, before it vanished and her face became hardened. "I know what you think about me....Not telling my parents, I mean. I know that you think I'm not doing the right think by keeping all this from them but....," Kiera trailed off and shrugged.
Getting up from the table, she disappeared amongst the bookshelves. Though her eyes were skimming the titles, Kiera wasn't taking any of it in, as all she could now think about was that damn war.....The guilt added by leaving her parents in the dark wasn't helping, either.

Hermione put her quill into the ink bottle, then stood up, and walked over to her friend. "Im sorry, I know I can talk to you. And yes I am thinking about the war. But can you blame me?. Me, Ron and Harry are just a couple of teenagers, and we have all this crap on our shoulders" Hermione wouldnt normally swear, but she felt the need to.
"I want to help Harry fight, I want to help save the whle entire world. So naturally I cant stop thinking about it. Ive been thinking, trying to figure everything out. What Voldimorts plans are, and how to stop them. And the Horocruxes! Ive got to help Harry destroy them, but first we need to figure out what they are, and how to destroy them, where they are.......almost everything, all of my head and heart, and strength need to be put into this. And I cant be distracted."
"And as for telling your family about this, I know how you feel, I have to write a letter to explain how much real trouble my family is in, then Im gonna have to erase their memories" Hermione continued. "Youre not the only one who cant bring themselves to do something they have to do in time"

Kiera kept her mouth shut until Hermione stopped talking, something she prided herself in when the time called for it. It was one thing to be a good friend and show it, but it was another thing to do both of those things and be a good listener as well. Tit for tat...Kiera would do the same thing for Hermione, tell her what was troubling her, too.
"Hermione," she said, turning around sharply to face her friend in the aisle of books. "I know what you want to do, and I know how hard it is for you but...really, girl, you need to slow down." The look on Kiera's face wasn't disapproving, nor was it pitying, it was a calm, comforting look of admiration. "If I had half the guts you do....But you need to slow down. Take it as it comes, right? What use are you going to be, to Harry or Ron...or to yourself if you're too drained to handle the bigger things when you need to?" she said. Though Kiera hardly approved her best friend leaving to 'slay monsters,' she understood the role Hermione played in Harry's life, and she knew what it meant for her to go along too.
"You can do this, girly. Believe me....I always told you that Harry would already be dead if it weren't for you. You need to believe it if you're going to push him through this one as well," Kiera said, the trace of a laugh in her voice as she tried to give her friend the encouragement she knew she needed right now.

Hermione couldnt help but smile, then the smile turned into a watery laugh. "I know, you have told me this more than a gazillion times" Hermione said, still smiling, looking down at the ground. Kiera had always been there for Hermione, like Ron and Harry had always been there for her when she needed them.
"Its just that, I cant just sit back, everyday there has been deaths all over the world. And Im afriad Hogwarts will be next, also I know how much trouble Rons family is in, let alone mine. My parents cant defend themselves, their muggles, no magic. And the police there cant do anything to help them. Even if they have 5 squads there all 'armed and dangerous'. They wouldnt be able to defend themselves either" Hermione exclaimed
Hermione walked back to where she was sitting before. Colapsing into the chair she was sitting in, she moved the peices of paper infront of her, soon there was enouigh room to rest her head on her arms. She looked up again. "I know that if I get too stressed out, and spent all of my time on this, that there's a good choice I wont be able handle it, and I cant disappoint Harry, I just wont be able to live with myself" she blabbed out

"Oh, Hermione," Kiera said, following her friend back to the table and sitting beside her again. "If you're worried about disappointing Harry, don't be. Not once have you ever let him, or any other of your friends, down. And I'm speaking from experience," she said, putting a hand on Hermione's shoulder. "Just don't let yourself get too stressed out over this, not right now, okay? Maybe if you thought about something else for a while...something to help you get your mind off all the terror going on out there. Maybe if you thought about something that you have some real control over, that would help you feel a little better?" Kiera suggested. As she did so, a well-known sparkle lighted itself in her eyes and she smiled mischeviously at he friend. If there was one thing that was on Hermione's mind these days other than the war, it was Ron and, from what Kiera knew, that topic was guaranteed a few smiles and maybe even a laugh or two.
{Hope you don't mind changing topics, and it wasn't a crappy transition, lol.}

((lol, its fine))
Hermione smiled as Kiera spoke, Hermione knew Kiera was right, she was always right when it came to something like this. Hermione looked at Kiera curiously, something was going through her mind, and Hermione didnt like it much, the glint gave everything away. "Whats going through your mind?. Youre scaring me. Is it something Ill like to talk about?" Hermione joked around, putting a book mark in the very heavy, greyish, old, worn out book, then closed it. Finally she focused all of her attention onto Kiera completely now. Her arms were folded on the table, and she had a gangsta lean, forward. She loved the way Kiera could change subjects, even from the most terrifying points, and subjects.

Kiera's smile widened as Hermione took immediate interest, as she knew she would, and she couldn't help but let out a small giggle. "Oh, believe me, you'll love talking about this. And I do stress the love," she said, winking at her friend. "Now, let me think...how should I say this? Outright is too easy and, let's face it, that's not any fun now," Kiera said. She let her hand wander to her head and, as she twirled a strand of her own red hair around her finger, she smiled at Hermione again. "Can you honestly say that you have no idea where I'm going with this? Come on, Hermione, you know me better than that," Kiera said, shaking her head in a playfully disapproving manner.

"Please, dont start with Ronald Weasly. I dont like him more than a friend!" Hermione said, but she had to be honest with herself, she wouldnt allow herself to get anywhere near him more than a friend. It would be too wierd for them, and for Harry. "We all know he isnt the type to settle down and have kids, not that I want to have them with him!" Hermione exclaimed, finally concoious that she was babbling like an idiot, she couldnt help herself Finally she helped herself to shut her mouth. She looked up, waiting for Kiera's reply, which Hermione knew it wasnt going to be on her side

"Sure you don't like him, and sure you don't want anything more with him," Keira said, all seriousness from her voice now as she watched Hermione's reaction with increasing interest. "You know, you can lie to yourself but, girl, don't lie to me. I know you, remember? Mm-hmm, you've got it bad for that red-head, and don't deny it. It doesn't do anything to take away from the stress you're feeling right now, lying to yourself."
Keira let her eyes meet her friends, and she leaned forward on the table, her face inches from Hermione's. "Can you look me, your best, childhood friend, in the eye and honestly say that you have never, not one single time, even dreamt about being something more with Ron?" she asked, the twinkle still there, though she was holding her smile at bay.

Hermione couldnt believe it. KIera could of been right, it would explain a whole lot more than ever before. But Hermione couldnt believe it. "Look, Ive dreamt that he was my brother, but thats it. Other than that its dreams that end in war, thats all I have been able to dream about" Hermione replied truthfully, it was very true after all, she hadnt been herself lately. She looked back down to the books, then opened it, took the quill, then started to write again, but she would still happily talk to Kiera, but that was if Kiera wanted to, Hermione doubt she would want to.
Hermione continued to read, and write down almost everything she thought would help the plans.

Kiera frowned, obviously disappointed at the response she got. Dreaming about Ron as her brother was one thing, but Kiera was sure that, if her friend gave herself the time that it took to figure it out, Hermione would see what Kiera saw, and the rest of the school for that matter. "Everybody knows," she said quietly, before getting up from the table again, a small smile on her face again.
Deciding to give her friend some time to think about her last comment, and liking how uneasy it made Hermione, she was so easily flustered over it, it made her smile, Kiera returned to the bookshelves. She walked in and out of them, up and down the aisles, not stopping until she found a section on Witches and Wizards who thought it was in their destiny to take up poetry. Settling on the floor, her back against the shelf behind her, Kiera stretched her legs out in front of her and opened the book on her lap.

Hermione thought and thought about what Kiera had said. But soon she stopped herself, I mean, it would be too wierd, its just ridiculus! she thought to herself. She continued to read, when nothing came to mind, Hermione yelled out in frustration, something she wouldnt normally do, but she couldnt help herself. She restrained to throw the book across the room, but then again, she loved books, and cared for them
Hermione couldnt help but think negative, expecially now, she couldnt help but feel as though she was going to disappoint Harry, she could tell Kiera had left because she hadnt given her the answer she wanted to hear.
Hermione colapsed to the floor and brang her knees up to her chest, then put her head down on her amrs, which were being supported by her knees. She sat there, a tear formed in her eye. It was just too much crap to handle for herself, and a couple of teenage boys to handle
