Kiera's self-satisfaction increased as she heard Hermione's cry of frustration. She flipped through a couple of more pages of what was, in her opinion, the worst poetry she'd ever read, before getting up. Tucking the book under her arm, for entertainment later, Kiera walked back into the main layout of the library.
"Come to your senses have you?" Kiera asked, though as she looked around she couldn't see her friend. Frowning, she wealked around the table and jumped back, as she nearly stepped on Hermione. "Hey!" Kiera said, her face and voice full of shock as she knelt down in front of Hermione. Putting the book down beside her, Kiera reached out and took Hermione's hand in hers. "What's wrong, Mione?" she asked quietly, her voice slightly fearful for her friend.

Hermione couldnt look up at Kiera. "I dont know how I...we...the boys and I can handle this. Im scared. There I said it! But I cant say that infront of the boys, everyday, I sit down and pray that we're going to get through this, and alive, with our family. Harry's lost his parents to Voldimort, who are we to say that it wont happen to anyone of our family members?" Hermione sobbed, leaning her head on Kiera's shoulder, it felt good to get it all out, but it wasnt enough, she was glad that the library was deserted except for them two, infact, everyone should of been in their Common Room's, because no-one was stupid enough to wander around at night these days.
Hermione kept her head on Kiera's shoulder.

"Oh, Hermione," Kiera said and, as her friend cried on her shoulder, she put her arms around her and hugged her tightly. Though she wasn't sure what to say to her right now, as she knew she didn't have all the answers, and that no one did, Kiera knew that what Hermione needed most at this moment was just for her to be there. That's what Kiera did best and, when the time came for her to respond to Hermione's worries, Kiera would be there too. For now though, she just let her friend cry her worries out, knowing that when this was over, things would be a lot easier to talk about between them two, especially the war.

"Im just scared as ever, and I jus been hiding this for Harry and Ron. I know that if Harry saw me like this he'll say that Im not gonna be there to help them. I just want to seem strong. I know that Im meant to beakdown. But this is ridiculus" Hermione said, taking her head off Kiera, wiping the tears out of her eyes, and finally looking up at Kiera, her eyes all puffy.
For once, Hermione didnt ake out her wand and cast a spell on herself, instead she left it like that, she didnt need to around Kiera

Kiera smiled as Hermione looked up at her, and she couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Oh, Mione. If Harry were to tell you that you're gonna be there to help him, then you are. Everyone's entitled to breakdown once in a while, even you. As much as you hate to show weakness like this, you need this. Come on, girl, keeping those worries bottled up isn't any better than keeping...other worries inside." She hugged Hermione again before pulling away and taking out her wand. Waving it and holding out her empty hand, Kiera waited for a tissue to fall lightly into her hand, which she handed to her friend. "And you don't just have to seem strong, because you are," she added.

Hermione couldnt help but smile. Kiera always had a way of doing that, thats what Hermione liked about her. Kiera was right, she too was intitled to a break-down. She knew even Harry had had a breakdown, everyone has, even if they dont have them publicly. And you dont have to seem strong, because you are" made her smile even more, it turned into a grin. "Thankyou" was all she could say. Hermione smiled, then took the tissue and wipped her eyes, then rested her head friendly like on Kiera again

"Anytime, girly," Kiera said, giving Hermione another friendly hug as she rested her head on her shoulder again. After what seemed ample time, and when Kiera couldn't hold it in any longer, she giggled to herself before moving on the floor. "You're never gonna believe what I found," she told Hermione, her face all smiles as she pulled around the book of poetry she'd found. "If you read some of this stuff, girl it would more than put a smile on your face. Here. Like this," she said, flipping the pages and trying to find the one she was looking for. "Oh, here." Kiera cleared her throat and began to read aloud:
"If the Witch of your eye is looking away/Then you need to hold strong to what you say/Don't tell her you care, or you love her dear/ Tell her her snakelike tendrils make you run in fear."
Kiera couldn't help but giggle as she moved her finger down the page. "It says here though, that if your current Witch is not a relation to Madusa, then you should try reading a different poem. According to this, the last Wizard who read this to his Witch became encased in the very book he read it from. It's been...wow. Five centuries now. Impressive," she said, her eyes widening as she read it.

Hermione couldnt help but laugh, but quickly quieted down, so Kiera didnt get caught. Hermione would be fine, she was 'Head Girl'. Something to thank The passed on Headmaster "Proffesser Dumbledorr' he left a note beggin for her to be Head Girl, it would have been really suspicous if he didnt

"Nothing wrong with having a little fun to take your mind off things," Kiera said, her smile wide and sparkling, glad to hear her friend's laugh again. It seemed like forever since Hermione had laughed in Kiera's presence, though she couldn't blame her.
Kiera leaned her back against the chair behind her and settled the book on her lap again. Though she was stopping frequently on pages, she wasn't reading. Her thoughts had been consumed too, but Kiera's light and cheerful nature, her pleasant humming showed no sign of her worries.

{That's okay, I'll be here } Kiera watched her friend's movements from the corner of her eye, smiling slightly to herself when she realized that Hermione was preparing to do something intense. Well...intense for Hermione. Her humming grew quieter and Kiera began to think more to herself, still mindlessly turning the pages of the poetry book she held, but not even stopping to glance at what it held. She thought of all that mattered to her now, and what had mattered to her before. Before they all had to fight for their lives. Kiera began to think of her parents again and her humming grew almost inaudible. The pages stopped turning but Kiera's mind continued to spinl; half of which she had to pull out quill and parchment of her own.

((-in hostess voice-Sorry, we had tennical diffuculties, but now we are back on air))
Hermione looked up as the humming stopped. She knew something was wrong. "Anything wrong?" she asked, holding her quill on the side, but as it almost leaked, she put it bck into the ink.
Something was bothering Kiera, and a womans intuition, told Hermione that it had been the same thing on her mind. But she wasnt going to guess.
There was one thing she hadnt told Kiera yet, and that was because Ron made her promise that she wouldnt say anything, to anyone. She had already brock that promise, by telling Adrienne, that her and Ron had finally became a couple, not even 3 days ago. It would be 3 days in an hour and 16 minutes.
Wow Hermione thought to herself I realy need to stop counting every second.

Kiera quickly shook her head and turned to Hermione, smiling. "Hmm? Oh, no. Nothing. I was just thinking," she said, shrugging. Though admitting to herself what she was thinking about was hard enough, it was harder for Kiera to tell her friend, even though it shouldn't have been. It wasn't like her to get worked up over something like this, to let it eat away at her but, given the circumstances of the war, the fact that these feelings were creeping up more often kind of frightened her.
Kiera's normal, pleasant smile slid into place as she saw her friend's face change. Hermione was hiding something, she knew it and, judging by the way her eyes kind of glazed over in a happy sort of way as she thought, Kiera knew that it wasn't the war this time.
"Hermione, tell me something," she said, closing her book and turning sideways in order to face her friend as she sat cross-legged. "You're keeping something from me. What is it?" Kiera said, as subtelty was never really her game of choice. She eyed Hermione closely, watching her for the smallest reaction, as Kiera knew her friend had never been good at what she liked to call 'The Ultimate Staredown.'

"I promised that I wouldnt tell anyone, but if you promise that you wont mention it. But I do feel as though Im betraying him. Me and Ron are...kinda...a...." JUST SAY IT! screamed in her head. "Well, were going out" she finally spit out
She quickly busied herself in books, she wanted so badly to think of an excuse to leave. Hermione felt too guilty for words, again she had told the very secret she promised she wouldnt.
Hermione pretended to read through the books, waiting for Kiera's reaction

Kiera's face stretched in a wide smile but it disappeared quickly. She jumped up and pointed down at Hermione, feeling betrayed. "You lied to me?! After all the years we've known each other, after all the times that we've shared our secrets in the past....How could you not share something like this with me?" she said. Though Kiera's words and face were angry and agitated, she had to admit that she wasn't really mad at her friend at all, though it did bother her slightly that Hermione didn't feel she could trust her with this. Why else ask her to keep it to herself?
After a moment of 'grumbling', Kiera sat down beside Hermione again, folding her arms in a very defiant way as she 'pouted.'
