Ginny removed whatever footwear she had on and plunged her feet in to the lake’s ever so fresh water. The cold water made her shiver a bit. She eyed the water and watched her reflection look back at her. It was a gloomy day- literally.
Every single day had been a gloomy day. The days were more like disastrous and grave than gloomy actually. It started when Dumbledore died. A day didn’t pass without Voldemort’s followers murdering anyone.
Ginny continued to stare at her reflection…
Of course happy events were sandwiched in those days, like Fleur’s and Bill’s and Remus’ and Tonks’ wedding. Come to think of it, days had been eventful. At least they had been fruitful. Ginny smiled, trying to think positively amidst all the things that had happened.
Oh sure, actually there were more grave events. Dumbledore, the only wizard that Voldermort is afraid off and Mad-eye, who is probably the world’s most experienced auror, died. Not to mention, your dear brother George lost an ear! A voice in her head contradicted her.
Ginny “kicked” the lake and the lake splashed water on her. “Bloody brilliant!”

Ron had dug his hands into his pockets as deeply as possible. Thinking seemed to be the top priority in everyone's agenda these days. Everything had just become so amazingly hard. Each day dragged on for what felt like a year.
The wind was heavy, making ripples across the lake. Ron could just make out the unmistakable red hair of a Weasley. It was Ginny, he could tell. Hearing her curse, Ron smiled. That's my sister... Though he wouldn't admit it, Ronald loved his sister dearly...
Finally reaching her, he sat down, but didn't put his feet in the lake as she had done. "You okay?" He asked her, looking at her. Ron had asked this alot lately. He worried about everyone too much, but who would blame him?

Ginny ran her hands through her hair in annoyance with the lake, herself or the unfortunate events, I am to know. She heaved a sigh, she had never even dreamt of herself feeling like this. She can’t believe it.
She was so out of this world that she never noticed them coming. If they had been Voldemort, Bella or some other evil folk, they would have murdered her already. She only noticed when a voice snapped her out of it.
“Ron!” She replied without really understanding what he had said, surprise written all over her face.

"Ginny!" Ron cried back, immitating her surprised face then smirking. "Nice to know you recognise you're own brother. But wait...Am I really Ron? Are you really Ginny? Maybe this will help clear things up...I'm calling you Ginerva from this moment onwards." Oh how Ronald loved making fun of those stupid brochures, as well as making his sister hate him...
Looking out onto the lake he burst out into laughter due to his horrible ranting 'joke' a moment ago. At least he might be cheering Ginny up slightly...

Ginny loves Ron, as well as the rest of her brothers, even though sometimes they become over protective, especially Ronald, she still loves him.
“Maybe I’m NOT Ginny, Ronald.” She played along, mimicking Ron’s smirk. “Maybe I’m some mermaid folk from the lake that is fortunate enough to have legs.” She rolled her eyes. “I don’t know who started the tradition of calling me Ginny instead of Ginevra but I’m thanking them… And I’ll help you clear things up by calling you Ronald Billius.” She paused. “I’m just being a good sister.” She winked.
“What brought you here anyway?” She asked.

Ron's eyes narrowed as his sister spoke. Ginny knew how to play the annoyance game, he should've known that. "Yes, grrreat sister." He murmered with a slight smile.
Shrugging, Ronald answered her next question. "I don't know. I don't know why anyone does anything lately. It's all messed up." Watching the lake rippled, his smiled from a moment ago faded.

Ginny beamed at him when he said she is a great sister. She knew it was nothing serious but it was still good to hear.
When she saw his smile fade, she regretted asking him the stupid question. Here she was sitting by the lake busted. Not totally but still busted. And now she was being a great sister, dragging her brother to some "bustedness"
An idea just popped up in somewhere inside her head that made her grin. She got up and started to splash water towards Ron.

"Hey..What???" Ron said as he jumped up. He had not been expecting to be attacked with water by his sister. It wasn't a problem though. His lips growing into a grin, he took a few innocent steps towards Ginny before puching her into the lake.
Laughter soon possessed Ronald, the most he'd been faced with in a long time. It was nice to be hanging around with Ginny like they did when they were kids, before everything changed.

Ginny chuckled when her brother jumped up after some water attacks from her. She remembered how Ron and she played when they were kids. Ginny then saw the look on Ronald's face and started to step back, a knowing grin on her face.
SPLASH!! Apparently, Ronald succeeded.
She grinned under water. She was not going to let her brother get away with it. She was going to make sure that Ronald would join her. She grabbed both his legs and pulled him with her.

With an almost girlish scream, Ron followed GInny into the lake. He had been laughing like mad at his sister as he watched her falling into the water but she had now gotten her revenge.
Spitting water everywhere, Ron surfaced, splahing his sister again. "Nice, Ginerva, Nice..." Ron laughed even harder as he swam to the lake's edge.

Ginny laughed out loudly at her sweet revenge. It wasn’t that she was the kind of person who follows the code an “eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth”, it was just because it was fun to get Ron to join her to the lake.
Ginny beamed at her brother. “But of course, Ronald./i]” She said with mock formality before rolling her eyes, smiling, diving down the lake and swimming under water.

"Stay away from me!" Ron yelled as he watched Ginny dive underwater. Laughing, he sprawled out of the lake, grinning. Grabbing his wand, he dried himself with a simple charm and shook his head at Ginny.
((Sorry, short))

((it's alright))
Ginny would have appreciated Ron's sprawling out of the lake and his head shake if she had seen it. As she was swimming underwater, some weird current started to carry her away from the shore. It was like some spell... she felt like trapped under water and started to swim to the surface. She panicked when she noticed that the more she struggle to go up, the more she was being pulled down...

A few moments had passed and Ron had noticed Ginny was taking a while to resurface. Turning around to face the lake, he realised there was something horribly wrong with his sister. A million curse words flew through the redheads mind as well as pure panic. What should he do?
Realising his siter was most probably drowning, Ron dived back into the water. Grabbing a hold of Ginny's arm, he tried to pull her to surface. When this failed, he swam underneath further, wrabbing his arms around her waist. This failed too. Running out of air, Ron began to worry. There was nothing he could do.

Ginny saw her brother going for it. Her eyes almost fell off their sockets when she saw him dive into the lake. Ronald is nutters! He is so nutters and we now both are goners! She breathe in and that was a stupid thing to do. She choked.
She was trying to gesture for him not to follow but now that he was here, there wasn't anything she could do.
