Harry Potter's final year at Hogwarts is about to begin... and it may be the last chance he and his friends have.
Voldemort is finally setting into motion plans he has been working on for months. The whole country is in lockdown, with brutal murders taking place all over. The orders last misson went less then perfectly. Alistor Moody is dead, George Weasley lost his right ear to a curse, and even Harry's owl, Hedwig, was a loss.
After their first disasterous attempt to take on Voldemort, Harry, Ron and Hermione decide to go back to Hogwarts where they can be safe while they plan their next move. Although they occasionally leave, much to the distress of Molly Weasley, they have been attending school as normal, and continuing with the DA.
Never before have the four houses of Hogwarts been so divided... and who can blame them when some of the parents of Slytherin students have been killing on Voldemorts orders. Distrust has spread around the school, so much so that anyone who is friends with a Slytherin is forced to keep that friendship hidden.
